INTERNATIONAL TEAMS:
The SWAT Round-Up International Committee Welcomes you to the 29th Anniversary of the Premier International Training and Competition Event for Special Operations Teams !!! In an effort to make your experience in Orlando more enjoyable, we will attempt to provide you with as much equipment and hospitality as possible. The SRI Committee will provide basic weapons (handguns, subguns, rifles, etc.) for use by international teams during competition events, as well as matching holsters and magazine pouches. We will also provide you with all necessary rappel gear. (See below for a list of weapons and rappel gear.) This assistance should eliminate the necessity for international teams to coordinate with their country or the United States for shipment of weapons and ammunition. Weapons and ammunition for individual training classes will NOT BE provided. International team competitors will need to arrange for use of weapons by contacting vendors or other local law enforcement agencies.

The Team Registration fee is $900 (this includes 8 competitors). A fee of $500 will also be assessed to all international teams for use of ammunition and weapons. If an international team chooses to utilize their personal/agency weapons, the fee will still be assessed and apply.
Total International Team Registration Fee is $1,400.
Individual registration fee is $100 plus a $50 weapons and ammunition fee for a total of $150.
It is the pleasure of the SWAT RoundUp International Committee to assist all international teams by assigning a liaison who will work handinhand with the team during the week of training and competition. However, the international team will be responsible for basic requirements as follows:
Deputy Tom Cocchi is the SRI International Teams Coordinator. He can be reached by calling #3213884094 or email thomas.cocchi@ocfl.net.
•
Please ensure that each and every competitive member of your team reads and understands the Registration Guidelines that are included in the SRI 2011 registration packet. The registration guidelines are very important and explain many details and rules. Each competitor and attendee must produce an official law enforcement identification or passport upon registration.
•
We ask that each international team bring their official country flag to proudly display during the opening ceremonies. Suggested flag size is 4’ x 6’ (four feet by six feet)
•We do not recommend that international teams attempt to bring weapons into the United States for this event. However, if an international team chooses to utilize their personal/agency weapons, that team will be solely responsible for all weapons and ammunition brought into the United States. The SWAT RoundUp International Committee does not have the authority to facilitate the paperwork and/or coordination of weapons transportation, nor the do we have the authority to grant permission for individuals to enter the United States. Please ensure that all appropriate arrangements and paperwork are approved and confirmed prior to leaving your country.
•Each international team is expected to bring all other items needed for training and competition (example: gas masks, duty belts, protective eye & ear equipment, protective vests, etc.). If an international team experiences difficulty bringing their own equipment, it will be the responsibility of the team leader to acquire or borrow this equipment from another team or from a vendor.
•Sunday classroom training will be available so that international team members and attendees can meet their requirements for training attendance. If attending firearms classes on Monday, the international team and individuals will be responsibility for coordinating weapons and ammunition on their own. The decision for these limitations is made in an effort to maintain quality weapons and ammunition for competition purposes. This will ensure all international teams have superior weapons avialble for competition only.
•
Specific times for sitein of weapons at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Range are as follows and will be limited to 10 rounds each.
Sunday, November 6, 2011: 0800 hours to 1300 hours
Since the OCSO Range will be closed during the period of October 23, 2011, through November 5, 2011, practice and training time for all international teams will be available at the various other agency ranges in the Central Florida area. These agencies will have the own procedures and practices that must be followed by anyone who enters their range. SRI weapons cannot be used at these other ranges so you will need to make arrangements with your U.S. contacts (other agency swat teams, vendors, etc.) in order to have accessible weapons. Please contact the below listed individuals for training opportunities.
Lakeland Police Department Rubin Garcia #8635595134
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Corrales #8132470751

Transportation to and from the hotel and the range will be the responsibility of each team. Please ensure advanced vehicle rental reservations are confirmed. Vehicle rental reservations are usually much easier to obtain through a travel agency in your respective country. That travel agency should be able to make arrangements for you here in Orlando prior to your arrival.
